Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of AKELA, the personal assistant in Telegram at @akela_ai_bot, and the pages on akela.tools. The service is operated by the developer of AKELA. By messaging the bot or connecting a Google account, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

The service

AKELA answers text and voice messages. If you connect Google Calendar, it can show, create, change, and delete events you ask it to manage. If you connect Gmail, it can read, reply to, send, and file messages you ask it to handle. If you connect another mailbox, it uses the app password you enter. Writing to the calendar, and sending or moving mail, is done only after you press the confirmation button. Reading is done when you ask.

Replies are produced by a model. The model can be wrong about a time, an address, or the meaning of a message. Read the confirmation card before you accept an action.

Google user data

If you connect Google, AKELA requests only https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.events for Calendar and https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify for Gmail. That data is used only as described in the Privacy Policy, including the Limited Use rules. AKELA does not use it for advertising and does not sell it. You can refuse the Google consent screen, disconnect inside AKELA, or revoke AKELA in your Google Account.

Your account and your instructions

You connect your own Google account and your own mailboxes. You are responsible for the instructions you confirm. Do not connect an account you are not allowed to use, and do not ask AKELA to act for someone else without their permission.

You may not use AKELA to send spam or unsolicited commercial mail, to access another person's calendar or mailbox, or to bypass a limit of AKELA, Telegram, Google, or a mailbox provider. AKELA may refuse or stop an action that would do this.

Who it is for

AKELA is not directed to children. It is not a lawyer, a doctor, or a financial adviser, and its replies are not professional advice.

Availability and changes

AKELA is a personal assistant. It may be unavailable because of Telegram, Google, a mailbox provider, or a fault in the service. The developer may change features and these terms. The current terms are always published on this page. If a change affects how Google user data is used, the Privacy Policy will be updated and you will be asked to accept it before that new use.

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for a missed event, an unsent message, or an incorrect reply from the model.

Ending use

You may stop at any time. /disconnect removes the Google Calendar connection and the iOS calendar link. Disconnect in the Mail screen removes a mailbox. Email info@akela.tools or send “delete my data” to the bot to ask for deletion of your account record. The developer may stop providing AKELA to a person who breaks these terms.
